  • We tried another outfitter in the area before we found RMO. We just returned from our fifth fly fishing trip with them. We would not be returning customers if we didn’t feel that this company...  more »
  • I was in Salt Lake City for a meeting and decided to take an extra day to fly fish the Provo River. Saw the reviews for Rocky Mountain Outfitters and contacted them about setting up a half day guided trip. Booking was easy. Ryan let me know what we needed and where to be. Met with our guide Andrew at the location and time. He led us to the river. Provided us with all the equipment necessary including waders and rods. Andrew got us set up. Gave us some short instruction and we started fishing. Although the weather was cold and overcast, Andrew put us right on the fish with the right rigs and we caught a bunch. I really appreciated his knowledge on the fish and the river as well as his advice. We had a great time. I highly recommend Andrew and Rocky Mountain Outfitters. I hope to see them again the next time I'm in Salt Lake. Thanks guys.
  • We went on a wagon ride in the snow or better said mud. Lots of mud. Nice people and interesting experience but pricey. $25 a person for the ride plus tax and then they have several signs requesting tips. Very bumpy ride which might not work for elderly or people with neck or back issues. A cool experience if you want to see horses and imagine the pioneer days. I feel driven to thank great grandma for making the trek over the Rockies to the west after this excursion.....
